A large proportion of current GDP in the global economy is made up by the service industry. However, not many companies know how to innovate upon it to create competitive advantages. This workshop will outline the definition, principles, methods, and tools of an emerging field – Service Design. In addition to hands-on activities, participants will work on a project to develop concepts and prototypes for a technology-based educational service system for students.

안녕하세요,
문화기술대학원 DESCARTES Lab. Information-based Design 그룹에서 2012 Service Design Workshop을 개최합니다. 1월 27일부터 2월 1일까지 6일간 본원 캠퍼스 문화기술대학원에서 개최되며 Service Design을 주제로, Service Design의 개요, 방법론/툴의 강연 및 실제 적용을 아우르는 코스로 진행됩니다.
다양한 디자인 워크샵으로 본 대학원과 인연이 깊은 대만 National Cheng Kung University 산업디자인학과 Yu-Hsiu HUNG 교수님과 본 대학원 Descartes Lab. IBD Group 이지현 교수님의 공동지도로 진행되며, 그 가능성과 함께 점차 다양한 각도에서 널리 활용되고 있는 Service Design에 대해 함께 토론하고 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다.
